Tokyo Magnitude 8.0

 

What happen if Tokyo has magnitude 8.0 earthquakes? This is what this anime is all about. It tells a story about Mirai and his brother Yuuki stories during this earthquake moment. Apparently there will be another character called Mari, who we seen in the first episode but have not play a major role yet.

I love how they draw what happen to Tokyo’s (I presume, need to clarify my Japanese friend on this) important landmark when this earthquake occur during the op song. Below are most of the drawing that I screenshot, their drawing is so detailed and realistic, that I can’t help but to share it XD.

The amazing thing about this anime is how they try for the realism, we do not know if it is true or not but, hey they said at their opening, so it must be true =3.

Stupid Rich girl

Anyway, first episode is not very exciting, since it introduce our main character along with her family problem. How she hate her life, her parent bickering and wish it all get destroyed (one wish coming up).

Please watch this anime in well light room and 3 meters away from your monitor.

I am not kidding you here yare2.

Overall if you like disaster movie watch it, if not still watch it. Currently I don’t like the main female character but her brother is so nice and innocent. Their character really brings out a sense of realism in the anime, which is nice. So yeah let see what next episode will bring us, hopefully more action weee.

Canaan

Canaan is one of the summer 2009 anime I did not expect to watch, but it turn out to be pretty interesting, so I probably will continue to watch it.

Story is based on a Nintendo Wii visual novel 428: Fūsasareta Shibuya de. So far it seems story is about a girl name Canaan who has this power called Synesthesia. Something about enhanced senses I want this power XD . Anyway Canaan seem to be working as an assassin since this episode start with her with sniper rifle and kill a person while claiming a doll prize (SUPER HUMAN POWA). The stories also have this type of mysterious illness that occurs when one take off their silly head costume. this  disguise is perfect

Overall the anime have lots of nice drawing and the detail that they put in the crowd and environment is quite nice, I really love the effect when she use her power.

The only problem I have with this anime is that my Yuri and incest sense is tingling along with my yandere sense, this maybe cause to this following picture.

Overall if you love action with girl that wield gun and have super human power along with mystery illness blend in, you will enjoy this anime

Summer 2009 anime version 3

Alright now since we entering summer (in Japan, Australia is freezing orz) we got the version 3 of summer 2009 anime, hopefully it’s the final version. We got more anime added and deleted/postponed. For example negima OVA is cancelled maybe not sure, lets hope it will appear again in near future.
Some of the new anime added is seem to be nico nico special which is interesting but sadly I doubt nico2 will sub it in English, if YouTube there is higher chance like haruhi chan and haruhi 2009.
I am still interested in Sora no manimani (hopefully subbed soon) and also Tokyo magnitude 8.0 which air tomorrow in Japan so hopefully someone will take it and SUBBED it yay2.
I download Canaan and Taishou Yakyuu Musume recently, and haven’t got a chance to watch it yet. I will give impression when I finish watching it.
Overall its pretty bland season, but I can be wrong, let's hope I'm wrong.

Left4dead Blood harvest

Another weekend, another left 4 dead game. This time it’s the 4^th and final official campaign in left 4 dead Blood Harvest. In my opinion this is one of the hardest and annoying campaigns of them all due to the forest setting and wheat field horde event in the last map.

Time taken to finish this campaign is 2 hours and 29 minutes. I believe it was our worse run ever. E.g. first map lots of incapacitation occur due to low visibility in the forest (we never had this in other map). Overall game was fun, we somehow manage to complete the 4 map before the finale without restarting (which is good, new record maybe?), lots of funny moment occur during this time, with friendly fire incident, and tank appearing out of nowhere (flame and run, RUUUNNN).

We then start to have a few problems with the map finale. Which include horde event right in front of safe room, which lead to backtracking often to find the horde appear from top of safe room (this is unfair T_T). Tank also sometime decide to show himself during this time or witch. The witch is fine since we can sneak past her but the tank man, we can’t exactly set him on fire and run around due to lack of room, so we often die from his appearance. We also often dead during the crescendo event in the wheat field caused by crow got scared of us running through (one time tank appear during this event uncool).

Upon reaching the finale place we often found the place is lacking bomb or pills and since we only got one Molotov cocktail, setting tank on fire and run around is a bit of a problem so we often die due to falcon punch or tank stoned (see below for example).

We nearly finish the campaign with only one survivor who is Obama Louis (played by me, tank is no match for the real tang), but smoker just have to tongue me when the APC door open RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.

At the end Obama Louis, is the only survivor (surviving the last tank alone, thanks to Pookychan/Horo/Yuru’s rifle that I scavenge and running around). My second chance to prevent the smoker tongue I hide on the barn side door to prevent him from constricting me (lucky not from behind) and run for safety when APC open door. Thank you guys Obama Louis cannot make it without the valiant sacrifice by Zoey (squeezed by tank), Francis (Stoned by tank) and Bill (falcon punch by tank) and their continuous chant of “Yes WE CAN”.

MVP of the Blood Harvest campaign are me XD. Well anyway I calculate it using the statistic I got from the credit at the end. Using this statistic and also my own opinion on the factors weight, I calculate (using excel) which of us have the highest number at the end. I weight survivability the highest (16 % weight) since I think thats the most important. Any suggestion will be helpful.
