Pure Pwnage

Pure Pwnage. One of the greatest shows to ever be released on the Internet. For those who have not seen Pure Pwnage, get out from behind your rock (seriously). Pure Pwnage could be described as an internet mockumentary loosely based on the life of a "pro gamer".



It follows Jeremy and a bunch of other characters- Dave, Doug, Kyle, T-Bag, and teh_masterer. The first ever episode was released 11 May 2004, and the last episode was released on 23 August 2008 (Episode 18).

In December 2008, Terrence Brown, who played the character T-Bag sadly passed away, and there were months on end that the future of Pure Pwnage was being doubted due to the lack of announcements on their website.
In June 2009, we found out that Geoff Lapaire (who played Kyle) would no longer directing and editing the show.

After much wait, a couple days ago "Project X" the dubbed name for a new development by ROFLMAO Productions was announced as a tv show that will be broadcast on a Canadian Channel named Showcase next year (2010). The following video was post with the announcement:



I'm very excited about this new tv show and I'm glad that things are starting to happen again with Pure Pwnage. Another new development, being a Pure Pwnage web game will be released in beta form this month as well (as per another prior announcement).

University

 

Picture has nothin g to do with my Uni lol. It’s a dessert I recently made, It look better in real life ><. It consist of banana, ice cream with chocolate powder, bread and Milo cereal. It was a fulfilling dessert XD.

Anyway My Uni just recently start it’s semester. And this semester one of my subject start with a bang literally,this subject is the only subject that have practical in the practical in the first week, during the prac we try to test if a sediment taken from Lane Cove river has a potential to become acidic soil. The test involve oxidising the pyrite in the sediment using HCL, man the oxidising process took a while but after 10 minute or so, the sediment solution basically self boil itself and emit a lot of steam for a few second. The funny thing is the lecturer was teaching and when this happen everyone just took a BIG step back from the table. it was great XD.

On another note I am going to smash anime convention tomorrow yippeeee, will probably blog it on the day if I am not too tired.

Fall 2009 anime

Wow I’m on a roll at blogging XD. Anyway this list was released few days ago but yeah I blame it on my game (read post gaming post) And here it is the list

Personally I am looking forward to Kobato along with shin koihime musou and Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza. I’m also kind of interested in fairy tail but I just don’t want it to become filler anime like naruto or bleach since the manga is not finish yet. Some other anime that seem interest me are nyan koi, kimi no todoke, letter bee, and armed librarian. I also find it ironic that shin koihime musou is released alongside romance of the three kingdoms, for reason that only the watcher of koihime musou understand maybe. So what are you interested in my reader? if there is any orz

Ranting

Yep here is the weekend gaming of left 4 dead woo. This time it’s blood harvest, now include Pookychan android version M2A. Anyway this time the game start in a very bad manner, all of us incapacitated at least once or twice, this bad run only come 2nd, first place was  no mercy first map where we actually have to restart the map OTL.

Anyway after that we actually did overall pretty well, only restart the game 3 time, first was due to ambush in a valley and twice in finale, one due to tank appear during horde event in the field, that was nasty, second was because I don’t want to be the only one survive again, in blood harvest XD. We finish the game in roughlt 1 and 30 minute, with Pookychan m2a and me surviving which is quite sad. But hey congratulation on the achievement what’re you trying to prove pooky, now we just have to get it for yuru and Huratio but since we all bored of Blood Harvest, we should help Huratio to finish dead air and death toll first.

Post gaming post

Ya anyway I blame my lack of posting in my blog to couple new game I got recently. So here is the guilty one

First up

Little King story, from the maker of harvest moon come this intriguing little game that I mistakenly though was my life as a king game by square enix. Interestingly this game is awesome. You play a little boy who find a crown and conveniently become a king. His first task was to find money to build his kingdom. After finishing my first task, he then train his carefree adult to become soldier or farmer for WORLD DOMINATION. Yep go kid. Classifying this game as an RPG is correct but it is much more than that.

It is so much fun playing this, sending your minion to the enemy, stone, wood, plants to gain money and so on. The graphic is childish but hey its bright colourful and attractive. Sound is nice as well, very peaceful and relaxing in safe places and more sinister and darker at enemy place, or just plain hilarious in my opinion XD.

My character currently already conquered 51% of the world and dominate 3 kings and also married to 3 princess (Yep 3 princesses, go king go, apparently there is 3 more or was it 4? I also got a feeling this game support underage marriage and polygamy, wonder why?=3)

Second

Wii sport resort, the continuation of the infamous Wii Sport. It now contain 12 sports (10 new one in my opinion, since bowling and golf was in first one). It come bundled with a motion plus, a new cash making peripheral to Wii, that ensure a 1:1 interaction between the Wii and the gamer. The most awesome game that I play right now is SWORDPLAY, the motion plus is so perfect at capturing the way I slash, block, lunge and so on. Sadly I can’t move around or so on, but still it’s a great example on what future swordplay game will be. Another nice game is archery, this game is quite nice, make you feel like you actually pulling the bow itself, and the twang sound, priceless. Next game that I enjoy is cycling, it’s a great concept but yeah steering still a problem, but who cares it’s fun. Other sports game include canoeing, wakeboarding, jet ski, basketball, Frisbee, table tennis, and air sports. I blame this game to my current lactic acid build up in my arm. But hey it’s fun, those cash cow motion plus, it’s great, now for the price of another motion plus which is $30, I’ll wait when it come down, if ever.

I was planning to put my video of doing swordplay, but yeah I don’t want to embarrass myself, and there is those security issue and privacy, and there are other people who already doing it so here you go XD.

Third game:

Yes my life as a dark lord, set in the same timeline as my life as a king but different game style. This game is all about tower defence. You play as Mira the daughter of a dark lord. You are set to conquer the world with your flying tower, therefore various heroes try to destroy your tower by destroying the crystal inside. In defence to this invasion, you have to built floor fill with traps and monster to prevent the heroes from reaching the top.  It’s a fun tower defence game bit repetitive but I love the storyline, it got humour and a solid story with a cliché ending. I have finished the game and currently playing the extra chapter. WOOHOO

And there you are my guilty 3 that prevent me from blogging. I think I will blog more since school started, so yeah hoho.
